I just had a political “telesoliciter” call me. She represented the blue liars. She asked if I’d made my decision about next Monday’s federal election and when I said no, she proceeded to tell me every bad thing Paul Martin has ever done.
Last week the red liars called. The conversation could have been read off the same script. Have you decided? No. Then maybe I should tell you a few things about Stephen Harper.
I WANNA KNOW WHEN THESE POLITICAL UI REJECTS ARE GOING TO PULL THEIR HEADS OUT OF THEIR BUTTS, LOOK UP ‘INTEGRITY’ IN THE DICTIONARY AND MAYBE TRY TO EMULATE IT A BIT! THE PARTY WITH THE BEST MUD SLINGERS IS NOT GOING TO GET MY VOTE. THE PARTY WHO CAN DIG UP THE BEST DIRT ON THE OTHER PARTY IS NOT GOING TO GET MY VOTE.
THE PARTY THAT IS GOING TO GET MY VOTE IS THE ONE WHO MAKES PROMISES THAT BENEFIT ME, THAT THEY KEEP AFTER THEY ARE ELECTED. SHOOTING A LINE OF PIPEDREAM FANTASY LOW-GRADE CROP MANURE IS NOT ENOUGH. DALTON McGINTY TRIED THAT. THE PROCESS OF A PROMISE IS TWO-FOLD, THE PROMISE AND THE FULFILLMENT. LISTEN UP OTTAWA, IF THE TWO PARTS AREN’T GONNA HAPPEN, DON’T MAKE THE PROMISE.
I WANT A PARTY THAT RUNS A POSITIVE CAMPAIGN THAT FOCUSES ON WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO, NOT WHAT THE OTHER GUY ISN’T.
The unfortunate thing is… it doesn’t exist.
I have never been more livid about a federal election than I am about this one. You want to know the reason why voter apathy is so high in Canada? It’s because ALL OF THE CHOICES STINK!!
