With Gmail invites trading hotter than some stocks on the NYSE, I found it interesting that people have setup a web site to give them away to soldiers overseas so their loved ones can send videos and sound bites without fear of blowing the storage capacity of their mailbox. It’s a great idea, and a noble use of this newly offered free storage.
However, being member and president of the Geeky Underside Of The Internet™ I have far loftier causes. I am going to use mine as a spam bucket. (Editor’s Note: Don’t worry Jim, I used one of my own invites on myself… I will have an account I can legitimately use… I’m not wasting the invite you gave me.)
It has concerned me for some time I have no way - other than comments - to stay in direct contact with you - my loyal readers. And since Gmail supposedly has an “awesome” spam filtering system and the point of these invites is to test the system… I sense a match made in heaven.

Think that was big enough that even the spammers can read it?
