I’m reminded of a quote from the movie Armgaddon where a somewhat pious NASA official declares something to the effect that “Here at NASA, we don’t screw around…” Apparently the Army Corps of Engineers doesn’t either.
Apparently in an attempt to “close the hole” in the breached New Orleans levees in the fastest manner possible, they have decided to employ twin-rotor CH-47 Chinook helicopters to “drop” 3,000 lb sandbags across the breaches. I would pay money to see that.
