Weird seems to be the keyword this week.
CNN has more on “the Winkler story”, the story of the preacher’s wife from Selmer, TN who most believe killed her husband with a shotgun.
If they don’t use the insanity defense on this, I will be floored.
She “doesn’t remember” getting the gun.
She told him after (we assume) she pulled the trigger that she was sorry and “she loved him”.
The whole thing apparently escalated when Matthew Winkler was venting his frustration with the church administration.
This planet is full of strange people.
