When I read the news about Delta Flight 5191 today, and read that 49 of the 50 people onboard died I thought to myself “That would suck to be one who lived” and then I thought to myself “That would suck even more if one of the ones who lived was one of the pilots”, and as I read further I found out that it was the case.
My heart obviously goes out to the familes of those who died, but it also really goes out to First Officer James Polehinke. I hope they find him to not be at fault, and I hope he gets back in the air as soon as he can.
