Everything I Need To Know I Learned From My Cat

Quote Of The Moment

An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last.

Since all my predictions for the second part of the three-part Grey’s Anatomy series were pretty much bang-on I’m going to go out on a limb and publish my predictions for Part Three.

The Prediction

Due to the wondrous discontinuity of the television timeline, Meredith and Denny and Dylan the bomb technician are going to have a really short conversation about life and death and things worth living for while “down below” on “this mortal coil” everybody and their cow is called in to try and keep her alive. Meanwhile life - otherwise - is slowly returning to normal around Seattle Grace and… OH LOOK! Ellis Gray’s heart surgery has been postponed for two weeks. Hmmmm… who do we get to do it? Burke is busy with Meredith, so let’s stick some low mileage surgical idiot on the crazy old bird since she’s gonna die soon anyway. Hell, Mark was overseeing a craniotomy in Part 2, let’s give him heart surgery in Part 3. (Now THAT would be funny, but I don’t think they’ll go that far.) Ellis flatlines and the heavenly conference between Meredith, Denny and Dylan is interrupted by her coherent mother who bursts through the door into their meeting. After seeing her mother in a sound state of mind again, and listening to Denny and Dylan’s advice, she realizes she’s not ready to die yet and that “her place” is at Seattle Grace with Derek.

Part 2 Commentary

1. This peace between Addison and Meredith is unsettling to me. The way Addison seemed almost MOVED when she saw Meredith clinging to life kind of threw me.

2. This “Addision/Alex” thing that’s developing is even MORE unsettling.

3. My eyes were closed through the whole cordless drill scene.

4. I wanted to bitchslap Izzie after the speech in the hallway.

One Response to “My Prediction For “Walking On Water - Part 3″”
