It might work with other iPods too.
A hat tip to my friend George Castanza Matt who saved my bacon when I was miles from a computer in the middle of nowhere on a tour bus when my iPod Nano locked up tighter than a drum.
Hold down MENU and the center button for ten seconds. It’s the iPod equivalent of the procedure that with most other mp3 players involves a straightened paper clip and finding a little reset hole.
VERY handy.
I should also mention that I have uploaded a selection of photos from my trip today to my Flickr account. As is my norm with the uploader I use, they are not in chronological order. I started to tag them before Grey’s Anatomy came on and then came back afterwards and finished giving them meaningful filenames at least. Since I was too lazy to take notes, it would be great if some ornithologist (say Steve Maxwell) could flick through the Aviary pictures and ID them for me in the comments. Hint hint, nudge nudge.
Sure,
I’ll tag them for you. A quick look through: Scarlet Ibis, Jacana, Toco Toucan, Painted Bunting, Harlequin Duck. A few neo-tropicals that I’ll have to hit the books to identify.
Max…

Oh it’s a HARLEQUIN duck. Can you comment these? I have no idea which birds you’re associating which names with.
