This just kinda blew me away.
PC Magazize reports that Sony has released a new thin point-and-shoot camera they have labelled the DSC-T2 that sports…. 4 GIGABYTES OF INTERNAL STORAGE making this hot little pocket camera capable of storing 40,000 VGA images or 1,000 full-resolution 8 megapixel images without the need of a memory card, even though the camera does sport a slot for a Memory Stick. (God knows 1,000 images just isn’t enough.)
I think I may have just discovered the perfect point-and-shoot camera. I even like the cool green colour. (It’s also available in blue, pink, white and black.)
It should hit stores around Christmas time and cost about $350. How convenient.
[Addendum: There is more good stuff at dpreview.com, including better pictures and the revelation that the screen on the back will be touch-sensitive and offer extensive photo editing capabilities with a stylus!]
