You’re not going to believe this one.
In Des Moines, a hunter is recovering after he was shot in the leg at close range by his dog, who stepped on his shotgun and tripped the trigger.
The hunter had laid the gun on the ground to cross a fence when the dog stepped on the trigger.
Nobody else — including the dog (for now) — was hurt.
