Scary People Who Make Scary Drinks

The people over at Jones Soda kinda scare me. I’m pretty sure I remember seeing a video last year of the infamous Chris Pirillo reviewing their lineup of Christmas offerings. Well, they’re back. And they’ve created a new Christmas (and Chanukkah) gift pack for 2007.
The flavour lineup is as follows. The Christmas pack contains one bottle each of: sugar plum soda, egg nog soda, Christmas tree soda, and Christmas ham soda. No folks, that’s not a typo. They made a ham flavoured soft drink. But seriously, I think I fear the tree flavoured drink more.
The Chanukkah box set contains one bottle each of: chocolate coins flavour, apple sauce flavour, latke (potato pancake) flavour, and jelly doughnut flavour.
It’s a shame we never see their Christmas stuff in Canada.

I just recently had the “honor” and “privelege” of sampling their Halloween-esque “Candy Corn” flavor. I’m still trying to scrape the nastiness off my tongue.
It’s so odd too, because their normal sodas are usually fantastic. Why dilute the brand with these jokes?
