Awkward Events From The “It Could Only Happen To Eric Department”

I went to the drug store after the gym today.
I had my gym bag with me.
I offered to leave it behind the counter so they wouldn’t want to search it when I left.
The conversation ended - as I handed the bag over the counter - completely unintentionally with:
“Yeah well… you know how people look when you have a large package.”
Two seconds of pregnant pause, and then hysterical laughter. I didn’t even get what I said until another four seconds later.
