Good Morning, Captain!

Bob Keeshan - aka Captain Kangaroo - died in Queechee, Vermont today at the age of 76.

First Mr. Dressup, then Fred Rogers, and now Bob - probably my favourite of the three.

Picture pages, picture pages, time to get your picture pages, time to get a crayon or a pencil… I remember that stupid song and I haven’t heard it in almost 30 years. Remember Bill Cosby back then?

Who is going to take over for these guys? Who is going to make the impact on this generation that these guys made on the last generation?

Kids programming these days sucks.

We could all learn a lesson from Captain Kangaroo, Mr. Moose and Mr. Greenjeans.

Seems like all the people I worshipped as a kid are dieing now.

It’s depressing.
