Thanks to flatrabbit - the Thunderbird guru - for having the heads-up on this.
Thunderbird 0.2a is out. Check flat’s article for the fully skinny on changes. The one thing you will notice right away when you install it is a drastic increase in speed, and a drastic reduction in footprint.
