Why would an mp3 burnt to a CD sound (not played from the original CD) better played through the same player, and the same computer, than the mp3 played directly from the hard drive?

A Mac iTunes plugin called iSpazz has been developed for the new line of Macbook laptops that feature backlit keyboards. Yes folks, it flashes your keyboard backlight to the beat of the music.
I would almost think that would HAVE to void your warranty.
